NYS Ammo Transfers

Save money on ammunition by ordering online for the best prices!

Beginning September 1, 2022, New York State implemented new rules requiring all ammunition sales to be documented by a licensed NYS Dealer of Firearms or NYS Seller of Ammunition and implemented mandatory background checks by NYS NICS on September 13, 2023. This change requires that internet and out-of-state ammunition purchases be shipped to a licensed seller who will process your transfer and effect the required NYS NICS Check.

NY Safe Provides Ammo Transfer Services at a flat rate of $25 for unlimited rounds of up to 5 products and $5 additional for each additional product. The $2.50 NYS NICS Background Check fee is extra and billed at cost.
