Are you ready to take the next step in personal safety and firearms training? Our New York CCW class is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to apply for a concealed carry permit in New York. Whether you're a beginner or have prior experience, our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way.

NY Safe offers the mandatory 18-hour training for everyday professionals and families to apply for their New York Carry Permit. The class focuses on developing safe gun owners who have the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and their families when times are at their worst. We pride ourselves on our proven track record, taking complete beginners and experienced marksmen to a new level without judgment or the hostile “boot camp” experience. Classes are led by certified NRA CCW Instructors duly authorized by the State of NY to satisfy all requirements required by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), including 16 hours of classroom content and 2 hours of live fire.

• Firearm and ammunition functions, operation, and maintenance
• Safe storage
• Personal security, awareness & firearm readiness
• Conflict de-escalation, anger management, and suicide prevention
• Encounters with the police
• Law: Licensing, Disqualification, Purchase Process
• Laws: Storage / Safeguarding, Use of Force, & Sensitive Places
• The basics of marksmanship and defensive shooting
• Defensive Drawing & Shooting

We reserve the right to reschedule or transfer students to another similar class if minimum student registrations are sold.  Failure to reschedule within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of fees, and you must pass all examinations / practical qualifications to be awarded a certificate of completion.  Students rescheduling with more than 48 hours notice will be granted a single reschedule.   Retesting will incur additional fees. No refunds will be issued.
